Welcome to Beija Flor
Our aim is to brighten lives with beautiful, fresh flowers, not only for special days but for everyday.
Beija Flor is the portuguese word for hummingbird, literally translated as flower kisser. Our name is inspired by a love of travel - think sipping mojitos and carnival in Rio. It is fun, fresh and colourful, perfectly suited to the tropical lifestyle we enjoy here in Darwin. Our Coconut Grove floral design studio is open daily (Monday to Saturday). You can browse our gorgeous fresh flower selection and have a floral gift wrap or vase prepared by one of our florists while you wait. You can also pick up a quick bunch of flowers along with your groceries from our stockists, Parap Fine Foods.

Maria Okwa
Maria is the founder of Beija Flor. A talented florist from the UK, she's been creating beautiful florals for weddings and events for many years.
Sarah - Florist
Sarah is a florist from Lincolnshire, UK who moved to Australia in 2019 and hasn't looked back! She has been creating stunning florals for nearly a decade.
Larry - Florist
Larry loves tulips, poppies, chincherinchees; flowers that keep changing after being cut - a tulip continues to grow longer and taller.
Gabby - Florist
As a little girl Gabby always loved picking flowers in the garden. As a florist she loves the way flowers connect people in so many ways.
Mary - Florist
Born and raised in Darwin, Mary moved into floristry in 2020. Most days you'll find her making gorgeous customer orders with a smile on her face.
